By STEVE SCAUZILLO Pasadenans have a love-hate relationship with the Gold Line. They love the convenience of a train whisking them to Los Angeles from six stations throughout the Crown City. However, when the train emerges from its underground lair and crosses Del Mar Boulevard, California Boulevard and Glenarm Street at street level, the sentiments of motorists mired at the downed gates similarly take a turn. In fact, those waiting three or more minutes or several signal cycles may curse the train as they jockey from lane to lane to find a quicker way to cross. “As much as a I love the Gold Line, it certainly has bisected our city during rush hour,” Pasadena City Councilman Andy Wilson said. “It is part of the bigger narrative of city congestion.” Read more...

The 1904 Behlow House, a contributor to the Ford Place Historic Distrct In May, Fuller Theological Seminary announced the sale of its 13-acre Pasadena campus, its home since 1947, and said it plans to relocate to Pomona. The multidenominational evangelical graduate institution's campus includes the Ford Place Historic District, open space, and various institutional, multi-family residential, and office buildings. Anyhoo, there is, in fact, a complete 10-Episode Season of the 'Pasadena Music Scene' TV Show. It was a show produced by Mistah Wilson of ThaWilsonBlock Magazine. It was a creative side project he put together while interning at Pasadena Media.  The shows consist of raw, actual footage of local artists FROM Pasadena, California. A lot of the footage features rap freestyles, bagpipe performances, showcases & events, and visual interviews.
