As a contributor on our Patreon you can submit your own written works and/or complete posted assignments to earn cash $$$. If you submit content regularly, you will earn more money than you contribute each month.

Seeking Freelance Writers, Journalists, Photographers, Curators, & more...



thawilsonblock is now seeking creative freelancers who are interested in creating content around the local music scene.

Mistah Wilson is back on an aggressive talent scout mission! But, this time, it's not just for local talent. But, for entrepreneurs who will bring that local talent to the forefront! We are looking to build a community of creative freelancers who are willing to pay it forward and nourish a sense of unity on the local music scene.Your work will surely make a difference!

thawilsonblock has a budget for creative freelancers in the following fields + prices to start:


  • Creative Writing / Formal Journalism - writes original articles minimum 500 words ($2 per article)
  • Interview Hosts - conduct interviews with local talent ($5 per interview)
  • Talent Scouts - scout for local talent to be featured ($1 per referral)
  • Content Curators - find relative content around the web for spin-off articles ($0.25 per content piece)
  • Event Coordinators - find relative events for feature ($0.20 per event)
  • Photographers - conduct photo shoots with local talent ($25 per shoot / $1.50 per photo)
  • Editors - format & publish articles/content ($0.35 per article published)
  • Street Team - magazine promo & talent scouting (Commissions + Bonuses)
  • Social Media Managers - post blog content to social media ($.10 per post)
If you fall into any of these categories, you can be a contributor to thawilsonblock magazine and support your local artists! All above mentioned freelance positions are flexible and negotiable. Let's work together!

How it works:

  • Become a contributor on our Patreon for $7/mo. 
    • You can always submit content to us, but becoming a Contributor on our Patreon qualifies you to receive payment for your work. Becoming a Contributor also gives you priority for payment to assure you can make more money than you are contributing.
  • Once you become a Contributor, you will be added to a private group and be eligible to submit work and receive payment for any approved content. Payments are made every 2 weeks.

Please keep in mind that the contributions you make go towards helping strengthen the platform you will be working on. Every penny spent goes directly to helping local artists get discovered and share their story!

Lymin Lime, a self taught artist & graphic designer, was born in Taipei, Taiwan. She spent most of her life in Southern California's San Gabriel Valley & currently resides in Las Vegas, Nevada. She received a degree in Fashion Design from the International Academy of Design & Technology. During her venture into entrepreneurship, she found her misfit with the business world. Fortunately it lead her to realize her true passions in sequential art.
